About
I'm Christoph Haarburger from Munich, Germany.
I'm CTO and co-founder of ocumeda. We are aiming to prevent vision loss by integrating telemedical eye screening exams in a network of doctors and AI. Before, I co-founded ARISTRA, a telemedicine company offering subspecialized teleradiology in Germany and Switzerland.
Before my startup adventures, I studied computer engineering and did a PhD in medical AI at RWTH Aachen University, Germany. In my research, I worked on computer-aided diagnosis of breast cancer on MRI images and radiomics reproducibility. You can find a full list of all publications on Google Scholar.
I started this blog because after my PhD I missed writing and I always enjoyed reading other people's thoughts online in other blogs.
